As I was ascending the stairs to begin work today, my daughter Lucy(3) was walking to her room clearly involved, purpose driven, in some activity of her own creation. We crossed paths for a moment.
Me: “Hello Lucy Ellen.”
Lucy: “Hello Daddy.”
Me: “I love you Lucy.”
Lucy: “I love you too.”
